From Healing Hands to Leading with Heart
Happy Hearts was founded by Trishauna Smith, a licensed nurse with a calling to serve and a heart for healing. Her journey began as a young Jamaican immigrant who came to Connecticut determined to make a difference in people’s lives.
After earning her nursing degree, she gained hands-on experience in hospitals, nursing homes, and private homes. What she witnessed inspired her to build something better—an agency where every client is treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care.
Happy Hearts to Love Homecare is her vision brought to life: a care team that feels like family, led by someone who understands what real support should look and feel like.
